Not sure what to say?

We were shocked to learn of Mel's death--especially since we saw both of you just a week or two before at the Fitness Center. And, we were sad that the news reached us after the funeral. We would have loved to have been there. Thanks for your many kindnesses to us, to our step-mom (his sister Lucille), and to our dad. We would have written sooner, but just returned from two weeks in Washington, D.C.

Dear Dave,
Sorry to hear of your fathers passing I know what he meant to you. It has been many years but we still think of you. Tina Manning Gillotti

Bishop Clark, Kay and family,

We were so saddened to hear of the loss of your father. It is hard to lose a loved one. We want you to know your family is in our thoughts and prayers. May you find peace and comfort in our Savior, Jesus Christ. We love you.
Love,
Jim and Linda Easley

Clark Family, we are so sorry for your loss. We've enjoyed our association with Bro. Clark. He was always so thoughtful and had a smile for everyone.

Dear Juanita,
I was Mel's secretary for several years at the old Rehab Office and worked within the district with him for several more years. He was a very kind and loving man and I will always remember him. You were always very involved with our district too. I still have a Christmas ornament that you crocheted for me. I will always have fond memories of both of you. I am retiring at the end of the month and was so looking forward to seeing the two of you. Please accept my sincere...

I worked for Mel for a number of years when I signed on with V.R. He was a kind and honest man.

I'm certainly glad that I got to see Mel briefly before his passing. I hadn't seen him, nor you, Juanita, for approximately 50 years. May you and your family be comforted, blessed, and reassured at this time.

Juanita and family: It is hard to put into words the admiration and love we have for you and Bp. Clark. He was a tremendous influence on so many of our lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a great leader for all of our kids who love him as do we. We are all saddened by his passing. Know that our prayers are with you. Kay, Joyce Clark & family

I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a wonderful person. He was my home teacher for the past 2 years and he had so much enthusiasm for life. I shall miss him a great deal.
