I REMEMBER YOUR FAMILY WHILE GROWING UP IN HUDSONVILLE. WE LIVED THERE THROUGH MY CHILDHOOD, WENT TO HILLCREST CRC AND THE HUDSONVILLE CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS. YOU MIGHT REMEMBER MY FATHER & MOTHER (HENRY & HENRIETTA VANDER WALL) SISTER JUDY, BROTHERS JIM, MIKE & DAVE VANDER WALL. I JUST WANT TO EXPRESS MY SYMPATHY TO YOUR FAMILY IN YOUR LOSS.

My sincere condolences in the passing of your father, husband and friend. He was instrumental in assisting me during my tenure at Michigan State University. Because of him, I had access to representatives and began an independent study program for nurses. I feel this exposure influenced my future decision to pursue a graduate degree with a focus on socialized medicine. Though I have not been in contact with him for years, I greatly respected your father.
