Not sure what to say?

Joan I felt very sad when i was told that he passed. I have a great feeling that he is with our Lord helping him supervise. Hope you are doing well. Love your brother thru Christ Tom

JOAN AND FAMILY, THINKING OF YOU. MEL WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON, SO MANY MEMORIES OF CID WITH UA. ALSO FISHING AT MY FOLKS FARM AND HOME MADE ICE CREAM AT THE AIRPORT, HE ALWAYS ATE IT TO FAST AND GOT BAD HEAD ACHE. JOAN ARE YOU ON FACEBOOK?

Dad, it's been 3 weeks now and I miss you dearly...I miss seeing you in your favorite chair when I visit Mom, your laughing and jokes with the kids. You were always there for me growing up even though I didn't always make the best decisions, I learned from the best. Thanks for everying you taught me in the last 53 years, you were so gracious till the end. May you be at peace there in heaven. I love you Dad.

I never had the priveledge of meeting you Mel but you have some wonderful family members; may God bless them and the rest of their family in this time of sorrow.

Joan & Family,

I learned of Uncle Mel's passing after returning from our vacation. I am so thankful that we got the chance to see him over Christmas this past year. Even though we hadn't seen him much in recent years, thinking of him on occasion always has produced giggles within me because I've always remembered his great sense of humor and his quick wit! I will continue to remember and giggle! Our family sends our heartfelt sympathy to all of you in this time of loss.

Mel, I appreciate that you always included me as an extended member of the family. Your sense of humor, and gracious dignity remain a standard for us all. Take care up there in heaven, and save me a seat at the McKale Center!
