To the Early Family, I met Melvin while visiting my husband in the nursing home, we truly had good times together prior to him getting very sick. He would always wheel himself over to my husbands room and we would talk talk talk. When I would visit on Sundays, after church, he always wanted to know how the sermon was. We took a liking to each other right away. My husband and I really miss the late night talks while watching television and eating goodies that I brought in for all of us. ...

To my family,
It was hard to hear the passing of Uncle Melvin but I'm glad I was able to know him as a child and into a grown woman. He was a fun loving man and always kept me laughing. Uncle Melvin, you will truely be missed I love you and you will forever be in my heart!!
