Not sure what to say?

To the Gallop family,
I am shocked to hear of the passing of Melvin. I offer my deepest sympathy. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Take care and I will see you soon.
Love Mrs. Irish Hodnett and Family.

Sis. Fannie and Monica! I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Melvin. I remember some great times at Greater Mt. Sinai. GMS was my very first church that hired me to play the organ, and Melvin was the ONLY tenor for a while in the choir until it grew! I have such fond memories of being with you all at you home, and since Melvin and I are the same age, we had a lot to talk about. I will miss him and will keep you all in prayer. To be absent from the body, is to be present...

My thoughts are with you and your family.

Ms. Fannie, Monica, and Family, our prayers are with you. Words cannot express the love that we have for you, your family, your Pastor, and church family in this time of great loss. For Heaven, it's certainly gain. We pray that grief will not overtake you. Be strong in the Lord and the power of his might. We pray that every tear you have cried you will reap in joy. May the Lord Bless you, keep you, dispatch angels around you giving you strength, comfort, and peace. We love you and will...

To Ms. Fanny and Moncie, its been along time since ive seen you two but i can still remember the smiles on your faces. My heart goes out to you for the lost of Melvin. Keep those same smiles on your faces because Melvin is at peace in a better place. He will be missed but never forgottened. God Bless!

Sincerly,

To the Gallop family my sympathy, and condolences are with you. It was a great pleasure to have known Melvin,(Melly Mel is what I always called him). He was such a warm and quiet young man everytime I saw him. Always neat, and always looked good. His warm smile, will greatly be missed.
May God bring peace to your hearts, in your time of sorrow.

Sincerely,

Kim Bagley(friend)

Fannie & Monica- I am sorry to hear about your lost, I can remember when we were kids and one night lil-melvin was sneaking out the room window for some reason that night stuck in my head after all these years, it was so funny! I cant believe he is gone... Knowing that he is now in Heaven with God and his Dad brings a little comfort to my grief. May God continue to be with you both and your family. I will continue to pray for peace and comfort during your time of loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Aunt Fannie and Monica- Right now I am at a lost for words. I will truly miss my Lil Mel. Everyone who knew him will truly miss him. I pray that God will give you two (and the family) courage and strength to hold on to his (God) unchanging hands. Right now Mel is singing with the Angels! Lil Mel, please tell my Lil brother (Chucky) hello for me. I love you and I will truly miss you.

Loving you Always
(your oldest cousin)
Lena (Gallop) Boyd
