Not sure what to say?

For 25 years, I got to play in Warner Lambert´s Super Bowl of golf.. so I knew him very well.... The world lost a great leader... who was innovative and left no stone unturned Rip Melvin Gregg Bingham (Houston Oilers)

My daughter received the Melvin R Goodes scholarship when she graduated from WESTDALE SS. She learned about it when she was playing her cello at graduation ceremonies through high school and worked to fulfil the requirements. She is now a proud Queen´s grad and never forgets who made that dream a reality. Thanks Mr. Goodes

I worked for Warner Lambert for nearly 20 years. I can truly say that Mel was the best CEO we ever had. I'd see him in our fitness center working out and he would join in with colleagues doing exercises, talking and laughing along with us as we did our sit ups. He was totally approachable and good natured. One time afte me and three others had finished our review of the 10K filing, we had seen the Warner Lambert helicopter arrive. Mel got out of the helicopter and said that it was heading...

Don and I were lucky to know Mel and Nancy. They were generous to a fault and many in Vero Beach will attest to it. They were fun to be with and many will also agree with that! A great legacy and fond memories!!

Mel was a one of a kind leader that combined amazing talent with charisma, vision, empathy and character. He assumed leadership control of the company during the most tenuous period in its history. With visionary leadership, and his "Bridges to Prosperity" strategy, he guided the company to become one of the fastest growing and most valuable companies in the industry. I was lucky enough to have weekly folder reviews with him for a period of 1 year. That year was the most valuable of my...

Those of us fortunate enough to have spent a little time with Mel know he was a man who knew what matters in life. His generous, kind heart will live on ....

Having worked at WL for 22 years, 15 in Parke-Davis, I remember Mel as being a very approachable person even though he was the CEO of the company. He always had a smile and took the time to talk with people. It was a good time at and for the company with him as the the leader. If you ever talk to a former WL/PD person, they always have a smile and good memories of working there and that is becaues of Mel. That is what we called him...Mel, not Mr. Goodes. Sorry to hear of his passing. ...

I knew Mel for many years as I was in senior management at Warner Lambert.Rarely do you find anyone like Mel-a combination of excellent leadership and compassion for people. He was a GOOD guy.I attended his farewll party and he always was friendly-courteous and a good sense of humor-I lived thru 8 presidents of Warner Lambert and he was the best. For a guy with such a big corporate position -he knew and addressed people on a first name basis.I always kid him as secretly being Jewish-at the...

As an employee in Confectionery R&D in Warner Lambert Mel was the BEST CEO in the industry. He was very likable and we all enjoyed working for him. He will truly be missed
