Dr. Harris was our family's doctor for three generations. You couldn't have asked for a better physician. I remember a Marcus Welby quality that made me comfortable as a child. I even remember when he came to the house back in the 50s to see my grandmother. Med schools are not making Dr. Harris-es anymore. He did his ob well.

Mel was a physician's physician. He was a major factor in delivering excellent healthcare to the residents of Stark County. He was a friend who will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He raised a wonderful family who continues to do wonderful things, thanks to his wonderful parenting.
It was a privilege to know him and to work with him.
