I miss you every day dad... you hav no idea how much

I just happened to learn of the passing of Mr. Isaacs - so sorry for your family's loss. My father purchased a life insurance policy on my behalf in the 1970s...and I have kept it all this time. Somehow, knowing Mr. Isaacs was there reminded me of my father. The last time we spoke was about 4 years ago when I moved to NC from PA - and we spoke of the passing of my dad in 2004. Although I only knew him as a policy holder, Mr. Isaacs' warmth made it feel like more. Such a lovely man.

Mel Isaacs was a friend of mine. He sold me insurance in the 1970's. We were face-to-face maybe two or three times since, with a few telephone calls sprinkled along the way when decisions needed to be made. Certainly our friendship could not be defined in the traditional sense . . . virtually none of the elements we think of in that way were present. But I know it was there. My heart goes out to all of (Uncle) Mel's family and friends. Although we weren't as close as we use to be, back in the days when we would all meet up at Nana & Papa's for Sabbath dinner on Friday nights, I still looked forward to seeing him and visiting with him and my Aunt Marilyn at various Bar Mitzvah and other family functions over the years.
