He was a valued colleague who spoke softly and made a big impact while helping faculty, students and staff alike. I had the privilege of serving an internship at the Sparks Center back around 1987, where I met Dr. Knight and his staff (Linda, Wayne and Dale). This encounter became the gateway connection to my own career. I always count Dr. Knight among my lucky stars and meetings in my life.
