Not sure what to say?

I was stunned to read about you after I read one of your books and tried to locate you to perhaps speak with you. I still think you were cutting edge in your views and your work. That can't be taken away.

Bambi - it's been almost a year since the world lost a wonderful physician. Dr. Levine was the only physician when my son was little that was able to determine that he was lactose intollerant back before it was common.

We think of him often.

I just learned of Dr. Levine's death today while doing some research about All Kinds of Minds for a friend. Thanks to his wonderful facility in Chapel Hill, our daughter was significantly helped in the fifth grade. His thinking-outside-of-the-box approach and methods helped her go on to become successful in middle school. high school and college. Now she is a college grad and working as a News Producer for an NBC affiliate station. The world will certainly feel his loss but his genius and...

I worked with Mel at Boston Children's hospital to improve the health of children seen in the Ambulatory Clinics. My condolences to Bambi and his family. Kathleen Crampton (Palm Beach, Fl)

Dr. Levine taught me how to teach special kids to take part in their education

As a teacher who just retired in June '11, Dr. Levine's inspiring concepts forever changed the way I taught when I rec'd training in ALL KINDS OF MINDS 10 yrs. ago. I was already the compassionate educator, but without teacher tools until presented with his ideas. I was able to help a few more "special students" the last decade of my teaching thanks to Dr. Levine's educator training here in the Bay Area. Now, in retirement tutoring I can still make a difference. Thank you Dr. Levine, you...

I graduated from Great Neck High School with Mel in 1957. My condolences to his family.

I have just learned about this and want to give my condolences to the family. Dr. Levine influenced me personally and helped teachers and parents everywhere. I am going back to college at age 48 to study early childhood and research development, inspired by his books and programs that were such a help to our son and to myself. Thank you from my heart.

I continue to follow the Schools Attuned model in my classroom and I will always remember who created it.

Dr. Levine was a gift to all children and parents!
