Not sure what to say?

Sorry to learn that your brother had passsed away. Our family had been communicating with him for years and was deeply sadden to learn he has gone home to be with the LORD.

We walked Town and Country mall every day and always talked to Melvin as he too walked. I have a Christmas card from him that I kept and will cherish forever. I know there is a special place in heaven for Mel.

Melvin added so much to my work life. I would see him everyday in the halls at Lincoln Park Manor. I was always amazed by his knowledge and love of nature. He would light up talking about the daffodils of spring or the old trees at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center. If I had a botany question, Melvin was my go to man. He will be missed and it was a pleasure having him here with us.

I had the pleasure of many times w Melvin teaching me botanical names, exploring the back patio at LPM for wildlife and plants/trees. He introduced me to Seldom Seen and loved to sing us songs in the gym while working out. I used to tease him because his memory was so much better than mine and he´d lower his head and say, ever so kindly, " I know." He had an impact on my life and enriched my days at work. Blessing to family and friends
