Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss. Prayers of comfort during this time.

Wonderful family memories flood my heart and soul when I think of the Longendelpher family. Our Uncle Mel was the sweetest and most loving person and I will always remember his Christian spirit and contagious smiles. Our sympathy to all that are left behind and many prayers for those who need consoled with peace upon his passing.
Love Joan (Wray) and Dave Randall

I am so sorry to hear that Mel passed away. I knew Mel while at the City Electric System for all his years there. He was a kind, happy (most of the time), smiling man who had a sincere warmth and care for his men, customers and anyone else he dealt with. His wit was so welcomed, esp. during difficult times. I treasured him as a colleague and friend. I am sure he's at peace now and that trumps the sadness that we feel and the happiness as his life is celebrated.

Melvin's warmth and kindness was cherished by us and so many others privileged to know him. You could see the joy of His Lord in Melvin's eyes. You could feel the warmth of His Savior in Melvin's outpouring of grace and kindness. What a tremendous blessing he was to us, and always will be to all who were privileged to know him. Georgiana and I are comforted in knowing Melvin is at peace and at home with Jesus. Our thoughts and prayers are with Melvin's beautiful family. - Raymond and...
