Not sure what to say?

Patti,
I have never had the pleasure of meeting you and the girls but Melvin talked about all of you often. Melvin and I worked next door to each other on 280. We were constantly comparing notes on camping, fishing, boating and spending time at the river with our families. I am just returning from vacation and learned of Melvin's passing with total shock and a saddened heart. He was such a wonderful and caring person and I will miss our little talks. Please know that you are all in my...

Melvin(and his body guards)was one of the first people I met during rush and one of the most unique. He never met a stranger and was always so full of life. He will be missed by all of his fraternity brothers and the little sisters as well. Our prayers go out to his family.

My thoughts & prayers to such a great family and a special cousin. Melvin was in rare form when his brother (sidekick) Gary was with him the last time I saw them. He always made me laugh & brightened up the room. Take care.

Melvin was a great uncle. He was funny, smart and caring. We will cherish our memories of him. Our love and sympathy goes out to
Aunt Patti,Grace,Christine,Meaghan Grandma, and Dad. May God bless you with love and peace during this difficult time.

My most heart felt condolences to Patti for the loss of a wonderful husband and father to Grace. My deepest sympathy to you both.
May God grant you peace and understanding during this difficult time.

Melvin, I know you are watching over us and I hope we made you proud last night. It is an honor to have had such an "outstanding" friend as you. You will be missed and never forgotten.

Words seem so inadequate when trying to express the sorrow we feel over the loss of Mel. There are those who come into your life and make a lasting impression; Mel was one of those memorable souls. We will always carry him in our hearts.

It saddens me deeply having lost Melvin so suddenly. He was a wonderful person; cheerful, mischievous and easy going.
I will always cherish the memories of the time I spent with Melvin. My most heart felt condolences to Carleine and Gary. May God grant you peace in this most trying of times.
