My girl and I met Mel about 2 years ago. I immediately liked him and just knew he was a kindred spirit. My girl, Diana, and I have prayed for him daily and we know he is heaven and no longer suffering.

Those of us fortunate enough to have him touch our lives are better for knowing him. Those of us able to call him family are blessed and we will never forget him.
He was one of the most humane, humorous, as well as extremely bright people I have had the pleasure and honor to know.

I will miss Mel's wonderful sense of humor. I met Mel 2 years ago and even though it is not a very long time I feel a warmth towards Mel and his wife Joan. I am grateful that our paths crossed. Mel, I know you are now resting and no longer in pain. I will always remember you and your kindness.
