Not sure what to say?

Mel and I were friends when we were young. We drifted apart over the years, but I have fond memories. I hope he always remembered the summer of 1988 we spent on the river with my dad, brother, Jeff Douglas and Scott McClure. Rest in peace old friend.

Such a great friend! We will truly miss all the fun times we had together. You will be forever missed. ❤

Dear Mel’s family and those who loved him most, Please accept my sincere condolences on your heartbreaking loss. Mel had the wonderful gift of making the sun shine brighter. I was fortunate to know him since Taylor’s Junction days and only wish I’d seen him more often over the years. May he rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him. ❤
