Not sure what to say?

Dear Mercers,
I always had the utmost respect for Uncle Mel. Even though we didn't see each other very often, I always knew that if I ever needed anything I could always call him. He was a great family man and we will miss him. My prayers go out to all of you and if there is ever anything you need, please give me a call.
I love you all,
Billy

To the entire Mercer family,
I am so sorry for your loss, and I hope you know my thoughts are with you all. What I remember most about Poppie was his love of learning and the ways he tried to pass that passion on to his children and grandchildren. As a little girl he always asked what books I was reading; during my years at Mary Baldwin College he often wrote me letters of support; and he always encouraged my dreams of becoming a physician. His earthly presence will be missed by all,...

To the Mercer Family,
Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your Husband,Father and Friend. May GOD wrap his arms around each and everyone of you and guide you through the coming holidays and years to come. Your memories and love for your husband and father will carry on in your hearts. Our family will keep you in our Prayers. Love, The Longest Family

My Dearest Mother, Family and Friends,
My thoughts and feelings are so overwhelming, they are so very difficult to express in words. I can tell you that I am truly blessed to have had a wonderful family with so many beautiful memories. They sustain me in this time of our loss, along with my deep faith in God and life everlasting. I will celebrate his life every day by remembering everything he taught me, and sacrificed for me. I want to live the rest of my life in a way which would...

Dear family,
Our loss is great, but our ties are strong. Let the tremendous amount of unconditional love our father, Mel Mercer (diddi), live on through us. He kept us together alive, and as our angel, let him do the same. I'll miss you more than I can even express, diddi. Whenever I look up, I'll look for you.
All my love,
Martha (Ann) Mercer Talley

Dear Mercer Family,
I was very sad to hear about Poppy. I am not a Mercer but I know that you guys are a tight clan and will be there for eachother and help eachother out, and that's why I am proud to have a few Mercers in my family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Cassidy

Our hearts go out to you and you are in our thoughts and prayers. May you feel the presence, love, and strength of the Good Lord in a special and unique way at this time. We pray that wonderful joy filled memories will help to heal the sadness you are feeling in your hearts. God Bless You.

Dear Mom & Family,

Dad will live on in each of us and for that I am eternally grateful. I feel blessed to have had the most perfect father and role model in life and am very proud of the family he created. A great provider, believer in faith and education, love and forgiveness. Daddy's passion shined in everything he did. It is up to us to keep his candle burning.

In my heart, I know that Dad is busy doing the work of the Lord and is earning yet another merit of...

Dear Lil,

Our prayers and thoughts are with you. I know there is a person in Heaven who is excited today. He hasn't seen his buddy in 15 years and they are going to have lunch together again. Although we know you miss Mel very much he is with his pal Eli in a much better place. Mel was one of my Dad's best friends and his kindness on this Earth will be greatly missed.
