Not sure what to say?

As a friend of Leon's from Dixon, I've known Mr Monson since 1992. Seeing him ride up on his motorcycle with presents for Leon, always made me smile. Leon so loved spending time with mom and dad!
My sympathies to Mrs Monson and the rest of the Monson family.

I was incredibly lucky to have had Melvin for an uncle. He always had a cheery disposition and a new crop of jokes every time I saw him. Most importantly, he never grew old. I don't know where he got his energy, but it never went to waste. He always seemed like a 20 year-old who just looked a bit older! I am saddened by Melvin's passing, but I will forever have fond happy memories of him.

Melvin Monson has been a special friend of the Gentry family since 1947, when we met through our Standard Oil jobs. We got together for many family outings. Our friendship continued even when we moved to Michigan five years ago, through phone calls back and forth. Melvin led a wonderful life, had a great sense of humor, was a gentleman and a scholar, and a terrific family man. He was a loyal friend. Our condolences go out to the family. Melvin will be greatly missed.

Sincerely,

Melvin, You have been a part of my life since 1967. I've enjoyed our many conversations about antique cars and your love of trains. You will be sorely missed.

Melvin you will always been in our minds. You were a very important person to keep the chain between relatives in the US and Sweden.
We often think of all wonderful times we had together here in Sweden and in the USA.
Our thoughts go to your family.
May he rest in peace!
