Not sure what to say?

Melvin and I worked the same shift at the Bountiful Utah Temple. He will be missed. His smile and kind heart touched all who served with him and all he served. He was a special friend and a great example. I send my sympathies and best wishes to his family.

My name is Carol McIver. I am an echocardiographer at IMC. I knew Mel from doing his echoes for the last 20 years. I was a new in this field when he received his heart transplant. Mel was a wonderful, kind man. I always enjoyed seeing him. He had a very kind heart. He always asked about my family and what we had been up to. He was a gentle giant! He will be missed. To his family, I wish you peace. He was one amazing person, I am fortunate to have crossed his path.

I wonder if there was a chorus of "Rise & Shout," as Mel broke the plane tween this life and the other...Sherilyn proudly carries on his great smile. Love to you all.

Goodbye Coach Morrow. We shared some good memories while helping youth at Mt. Vernon. Those were the "golden years" at the school. Your precious family will carry on. Jack Lambson

Hi Sherilyn and your brothers and sisters. I'm Sherry's first cousin. She was so beautiful, I named my daughter after her. Mel always made me feel so good. He was so friendly, so smiley, so nice, so funny. I super liked him. Sorry I won't be down that way for the viewing and the funeral. He was an outstanding man. I'm Marcus and Clara's daughter. Adina was one of my dad's favorite sisters and my mother loved her also. Mother always sat by her at the reunions.

My name is Susan Farnswortth, I knew him as Bishop Morrow. I was a senior in High School and was Susan Cooper back then. I was not a member and I was attending Seminary next to Borah High School. 1974, the first year of release time Seminary in Boise, Idaho.

I had a great desire to join the Church off Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but I had to wait until 18 years of age without parental consent. Bishop Morrow was my first Bishop, the first Bishop I paid tithing to. He was...

Bishop Morrow was simply the best---he went out of his way to make sure that everyone was doing well.
He will be missed...

Mel went to summer scout camp with me when I was the scoutmaster in the Centerville 13th ward. The scouts loved having him around. He worked so well with all the youth. He finished the swim check each year and cheered on all the boys as they shivered their way through the swim test. He would say "this feels like warm water back where I come from." Mel loved to sit around the camp fire and talk with the boys. He was a strong personality but so gentle in his approach. I played sports with Mel...

I knew Mel when he lived in Bountiful. He always went out of his way to say Hi whether it was at the gym or at church or wherever he saw me. Sorry to hear of your loss of such a GREAT guy!
