I have so many great memories of Mel "The Rage". He was our center fielder and #3 hitter on the Station 108 team in the first years of the fast pitch league in Sonora. He was a great player, but moreso, an enthusiastic fellow with a zest for life. He was a real inspiration for me, and was so supportive of me, "The Kid", always helping to build my confidence. May you rest in peace Mel.
