Not sure what to say?

Since my days as a "young, fuzzy cheeked" Lt under Mel's guidance at Westover, Deb and I have always felt close to both of you as cherished friends. Even though we didn't see you very often, you were and are always in our hearts. Mel will be sorely missed but we know that you, Louise, and the rest of Mel's family and friends will carry on and perpetuate Mel's life in our thoughts and memories.

Granddad with his plane

I love you so, so much, Honored Grandfather Sir. You will always be in my heart and soul. You taught me to have certain principles and standards in life, and I will never forget them. Not sure how I'm going to survive any vicious tickle attacks without my tickle lessons, though! It's great to know you're "looming" over us in Heaven, Granddaddy.
~Your loving granddaughter,
Makenna
