My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of "Mel". What a special person..I knew him from his many years in Highland Park as the best pharmacist.. Always with a smile and kind word for everyone. A real "mensch"

My wife and I knew Mel as the owner of Ravinia Pharmacy. We appreciated Mel--he was from the "old school". He treated all of his customers with concern, competence and professionalism. The community lost a dear friend when Mel retired. I hope you find some comfort in knowing that Mel conducted himself in an exemplary fashion in his business.

Roz and Family,

I am so glad that it wasn't that long ago that I had an opportunity to visit with Mel. I am going to miss him at our lunches when I come to visit. It was always a pleasure to have him around. I will never forget how caring and concerned he was for others.
