Melvin Richardson

Dr. Richardson gave me my first employment opportunity when I got to Columbus from Arkansas. Our families became great friends down thru the years as I went on to do many things with his advice and counsel. He was more than a friend to me and my family, he was a true man of God. I pray for his sons and their roads of success.
Today we live in the Virginia Beach area and continue to work for the Lord. Me and the wife will live on our memories of the heartfelt love that doc shared with us...

My name is Craig Richardson (son of The Rev. Dr. Melvin V Richardson).I want to first thank everyone for their support during this time/loss. My father gave his love, his home and his heart to my brother (Kenneth V. Richardson)and I. We have been blessed more than we realize to have a man to take us into his home and protect and care for us. We love you dad and we will miss you dearly!

I will miss the New Year Eve dinners that Melvin gave each year when he invited his church members, friends and family to his house. R.I.P
