Melvin L. Roberts

I never knew you but you sure were a great man. Handsome, hard working, generous. I am sorry your life was cut short.

I only met Melvin twice, but both times we had a long and interesting conversation. He was a warm and vibrant personality who knew a lot about many things. He will be sorely missed by friends, family, and the community for which he did so much.

We love you Melvin and know you are in heaven's court now. To Ronnie and David, may God give you both strength to go through the coming days. I have only known Melvin for a few years, but have told him several times that I sure wished I had met him years ago. He was so much like my deseased grandfather---a bit gruff on the outside, but a great guy when you got to know them.

I respected Melvin and was amazed at this wealth of information. Of course, he always had some personal adventures to share. I remember when he told me about his son's efforts to go green with a house. Melvin was so proud.
