Our family remembers Gene and Betty fondly as a loving and devoted couple. Betty taught the mommy and me preschool that I attended with both our sons. To celebrate our firstborn's 5th birthday, Gene treated us to an exhilarating flight over the valley in his private plane and his enthusiasm for aviation was contagious.
