We are so sorry to hear of Mel's passing. We have enjoyed being across the street for the past 16 years. I will miss our random chats about things happening with life. Here is a photo taken a while back of our kiddo helping out during a snow storm! He will definitely be missed.

Mr. Mel was a regular at the Ice Cream Palace on Saturday mornings. Sometimes he sat at the counter and sometimes he sat at the round table with the other guys.He was a grumpy guy,but that was just Mr. Mel. I like him anyway. Rest in peace Mr. Mel.

So sorry to hear about Mel. I always enjoyed running into him at local places in Silvis. He has a special place in my heart. He would remind Alex about my birthday each year, as we share the same birthday.
