Not sure what to say?

Melvin and Joan went to Brooklyn college with my parents. They were friends for life. I have very fond memories of Melvin playing the piano on New Years Eve, in my home. He was very talented in music, art and gardening. He was interested in many different subjects. A very curious, intelligent and loving family man. One of a kind. My sincere condolences to his family.

Mel was a customer of mine for some years while I managed Visionworks in West Palm Beach. I always enjoyed our conversations of education and music. He would test me on my knowledge of optics and was a fascinating man. That store closed in 2010 and I lost track of Mel, but I never forgot him.

My name is Michael Spinner and to this day I still recall Mr Melvin Serisky from teaching me geometry at the Francis Lewis H S in Fresh Meadows i Queens New York On Utopia Parkway.Mr Serisky he was my favorite High School teacher and i remember him quite vividly as he was my math teacher way back in 1963. It was quite interesting to know more about Melvin and i will never forget him forever, he was such a nice man. May he rest in peace. Regards Michael E Spinner [email protected]

Mr. Serisky was my Mathematics teacher in Francis Lewis High School in 1963 when I was 17 years old. I was not the best of students in Math but he was very helpful and encouraging. I remember him quite vividly as if it was just yesterday as a student in his class. He was a very nice person. Quite easy going. May he rest in peace.

My relationship with Mr. Serisky was for a short time but I certainly agree that he was a nice and intelligent gentleman. I'am the father of Mrs. Awilda M. Gerber, wife of Gary Gerber the son of Mrs. Ilene Gerber
