Not sure what to say?

Memories of Uncle Mel and days spent at Hickory Lake are as vivid today as they were in my childhood. I am often told that my sense of humor is 100% Shumaker and for that I am thankful. They were a funny bunch of people. I guess all of the brothers are finally together. Can you imagine? God Bless.

DEAR DORIS AND FAMILY, I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF MEL'S PASSING. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME. SINCERELY, LISA (ASCANI) CLINE

I am very sorry to hear of Uncle Mels' passing. I have so many wonderful memories with him and the campground and at my wedding that he will forever live on in my mind and heart. He is at peace now and he and Dad and Uncle Poodle, Uncle George and the gang can sit and tell jokes all day long. Tina Shumaker-Christine, Raleigh North Carolina

Shoey I am going to miss that toothles smile. But most of all the great times we had while putting in time for PEN DOT.

May God be with you on the road to heaven.

Mary C. G. John Bryant. Jr.
