Not sure what to say?

Mel was a great man, he will be missed. Over 40 years ago Mel started doing my taxes. Each tax season we looked forward to our meeting with Mel, to update what was going on with our families and, yes, to do our taxes. When me moved from Tucson, we would make the trip from El Paso or Phoenix. We will miss him. Wayne & Jeanne Hokerk, Clarkdale, AZ.

Our journey with Mel began in the 60's. My mother, Kay worked with Mel for 18 years until her retirement. I worked for Mel until I left to join the railroad family. My wife and I continued to met with Mel once a year during tax season. My children think very highly of him. He has been a lifelong family friend. It has been an honor to grow up with such a good man. We will miss him. The Osburn Family, Pat, DJ, Allen, William & Sarah, Tucson, Arizona

Mel was a critical member of LPL management during a critical period for LPL. I will cherish his memory.

former director, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory

In 1985 Mr. Simmons was very helpful to me when I was a new graduate student at LPL and had a very unpleasant sexual harassment episode. He took my concerns seriously and solved the problem the same day.
