It seems impossible that Mel has left us. The last time I saw him, he seemed so full of life. I'm so thankful I got to know him again over the past few years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

So very sorry for the loss of your Dad. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Aunt Irene and family...I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Mel's passing this week. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. I was so thankful I got to see all of you this last summer at the Peterson reunion.

We have just found out about Mel's passing, and as we are in Florida visiting our Son Mike and his family, we will not be able to be with you Monday. Mel was a great friend and we will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so very glad we got to know Mel better over the past few years. He will be sorely missed the next time we come to the Seattle area.
