Not sure what to say?

One year today Mel. It's been a very long year, and February, the "never-ending" month. You left a hole that's never going to be filled, but you've also given many of us the strength to think differently about some things, mend fences, and make changes in order to live our lives in a more true and authentic way. We all have our own reasons to be thankful for having had you in our lives. I hear your answers more clearly now when I talk to you and I'm encouraged to continue learning more and...

One year ago today...still difficult to fathom. Thanks for your visits. I knew it was You; and, I knew November's visit was goodbye. Don't forget your promise to me. I'll be seeing you. 3x, jan

Hi Mel,
Another night of no sleep, and lots of thinking...too too much thinking. The thinking brings on the tears and I again wonder why you're not here like you used to be. I know you're happy, healthy and free, but I don't think I'm ever gonna get past this point of such sadness (and quite frankly, some envy.)

We were all surprised to see the picture of you and the kids (when they were kids) at The Winery in Sac. I think they were very pleased and proud. You're a great...

Jan, Natalie, Clayton, And the entire Visgar family. My sincerest condolences to you all. Please forgive my late entry, I only discovered this devastating news today. As an ex neighbor of you and Mel we shared some good moments together. I will always have fond memories a man with a warm smile and a big heart. I wish you all peace.

Mel, we went to high school together, so many years ago. I was saddened to hear of your tragic death. You were bigger than life on campus and so it seems in life. My heart goes out to your family, and your brother George. I wish him good health.

You Visger boys certainly made the world a better place. Sheryl Whitsitt, AA Stagg '72

Today is six months and I miss you more with each passing day. I am over the shock. Flashbacks, trauma, and extreme loss have taken its place. I try to cope. I distract myself in so many ways but to no avail. Until I am in your loving arms again, your wife, jan

Tomorrow evening will mark six months since your passing. Our entire family has been forever changed. We miss you and love you.
Love, Sharon

Dearest Mel: Although you are not hear for me to sing to you personally, I am sending to you my Marilyn Monroe version of Happy Birthday that I have sung to you every year for the last 20 years.

Not a day goes by that I do not think about you and miss your laugh. I read the other day that we should not be judged by how much money we make but how many times in a day we make someone smile.....Mel, you made me smile everytime I saw you.

Last night as I was kissing Breanna...
