Mark and Kathy,, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know he was a great man because I see what kind of a man Mark is and his grandkids. May you find peace at this time.

My prayers go out to Doug and Sheryl and the rest of the family. Both Melvin and Shirley welcomed me with open arms when I came to work for them. Definitely leaves a big hole in my heart.

Melvin hired me in May 1986 as a laborer . He told me that if I was going to stay in construction that I should go after his job as a Superintendent . And at that moment my career path was set . Now as a Superintendent there have been days when nothing is going right and I think back to that advice and think ,,,Melvin what were you thinking when you told me that ???? At that point I follow the advice of his grandson and say to myself , I Love my job , I Love my job , I Love my job . Over all...

Our sympathy to the family. Melvin, Shirley, and Thelma were more than neighbors, they were such good friends.
