My spiritual mother ...God placed her in my life at the age of seven and she was twenty-three.... we traveled this Christian journey together until her transition at age 93...she was a strong part of my foundation which was very important to her, when I was lost she didn´t stop looking until she found me...and I´ll never forget that.... she always said do the right thing and let God fight your battles.... A strong willed woman of God and her faith, and she loved her Ebenezer AME Church...and...

Mrs. Melvin Wynn was my Sunday School teacher and my kids teacher also... I will always have a special place in my heart for her...

I won't forget Aunt Melvin's daring sweet smile and her heels and bun. The A.M.E. church has truly lost a devoted member, and our family has been blessed by her kindness, strong-will, praise and worship commitment. We have many memories of her trips "down south" to see Lillie (my beloved great grandmother), and we're immensely grateful for the times we were blessed to share with her.
