Not sure what to say?

Dear Carole,
We want to extend our deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband. My sister, Harriet, emailed me of his passing. Melvin was my first teacher at Concordia Lutheran School, and I have fond memories of him. God Bless you and your family.

Dear Carol,

Harriet just emailed me about Melvin's being called home. I remember having him for my science teacher at Concordia. That seems so long ago. We wish you God's peace at this time. May Jesus be with you and keep you in His tender loving care.

Dear Carole, I was very sorry to hear about Mel's going on to His Lord and Savior, but we rejoice in his faith. Harriet informed me. I remember our times at Concordia fondly. I met someone that knew you in Ft. Wayne when they were staying at Woodlands Camp a few years ago. In Christian Love,

I was a student at Concordia, Chicago. I do have fond memories of our time together in those learning years for all of us. There are a few students that still maintain freindships and I am certain that being in a church school has enhanced our walk with Jesus in this most dangerous world.
Thanks for the memories,
Richard Meyer

Dear Carole,
I still think of the rides home down Belmont Av that my sister & I had on a Sunday, after church(Concordia), with you & Mel. He was my 1st teacher there & he was a new graduate. Those were memorable years & I will always remember him. Our sympathy to you & your family.
Harriet & Hank Scherer

I respected Mel's insights and opinions during our many discussions of politics, theology and history while at CTSFW. I miss him.
