Not sure what to say?

We still miss the wit and wisdom of Mel. Jesse and Carol Kahn

We think of Mel often and miss him terribly. He was an amazing human being and our dear friend. Jesse and Carol

My condolences to Dr Korobkin's family. I worked in GI-GU at umhs as a x-ray tech. I worked with him for many years. Dr. K was a very kind and steady man. He always had a kind word or a compliment for us techs. I was sad when he retired. Now even more sad as I just found out He passed away. May God bless!Carol Hall RTR

I only learned of Mel's death today. I was shocked and saddened. We were classmates at Yale School of Medicine and I was looking forward to seeing Mel at our 50th class reunion this June. It won't be the same without him. Mel was bright, funny, kind, and a true friend. He always sent me a Christmas card -- always with a nice note. His legacy is great at so many levels: his contribution to medicine by describing the radiologic diagnosis of adrenal malignancy; his association with his...

Dear Linda and Dan, We're very sorry to hear your sad news and want to send warm wishes to you as you move forward. What a terrible loss.

I am so sorry for the loss of your love one. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find some comfort and peace from the God of all comfort.

Dear Linda, Daniel, Alvin, Marsha, Russell, Sarah, and Jessica:

I first met Mel at a meeting that he was lecturing at and he encouraged me to apply for a position at the UM...soon after, I had the distinct pleasure of working with Dr. Korobkin at The U of M. He was one of the friendliest and most approachable radiologists I had a chance to get to know while working at the University.

I am certain you all know that Dr. Korobkin has positively influenced MANY colleagues,...

My deepest condolences to your family during this most difficult time. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. May you find comfort and peace in knowing that your loved one is in God's memory, because those who pass on are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15.

HI

I was a resident under Dr. Korobkin's tutelage. He was aways kind and enthusiastic. He is a model to me about how to teach today.

I am sorry for your loss, which is so significant that it is hard to put words to, but I did want you to know that he was very special to many people and I am sure that much of his "Dr. K-ness" was due, in part, to the support of his wife and family.

Thank you for your contributions to my education. I will continue to my best to live up...
