Not sure what to say?

Sweetest man I ever knew. Born on the same day as my dear Mom, March 12, 1922. We were all lucky to know him, a little or a lot. Grateful.

Memo, thank you for taking the time to talk to me and helping me and my brother Milan with our paper route money. You were always patient with us. Each of my family have been blessed by your kindness and we spoke a lot about you tonight. We have the finest memories of you and your smile. This Milwaukeean knows-Miguel Velazquez

To the family.....Sorry to hear of your lost Memo seem like a really loving and caring person. It's hard to say goodbye to our loved ones but the bible gives us the hope to see our loved ones again in the near future in paradise. Your family will be in my prayers.

MEMO, You have left a void on the south-side. From me and all that had attended Holy Trinity, Vieau, Boys Tech & South Division, your kindness was only exceeded by your generousity and love for your community and us.

So sad to hear of Memo's passing.I always enjoyed his positive attitude and sense of humor.

Memo was well liked by everyone.Just about everyone on the southside grew up with Memo.At his store, getting those great lunchtime sandwiches, penny candy. And can,t ever forget MC of international dancers at State fair.Whole southside families grew up knowing Memo. We,ll miss you Memo.

Memo was a wonderful gentleman. Everytime he met me he would kiss my hand and I'll always remember that. He's the first person I met when I moved to Milwaukee w/my husband. My deepest sympathy to his family

To Memos Family you now have a saint in heaven. I went to the store when i studied in Holy. Trinity School. Memo was a father to all who knew him. We all got to love him for his smile and patience when deciding what candy to buy. There will never be a person like him.

If we all lived our lives the way Memo did, the world would be a better place. I taught at Vieau School in the 1970s and have such fond memories of Memo's smile, warmth and compassion. I looked forward to visiting his store every week. I know he will be missed tremendously... my condolences to the family.
