I have known Mendek since 1976. To say that he was always a beam of light is an understatement. Mendek always smiled and found happiness in the smallest things. I remember the incredibly deep love that he shared with his wife Edith, and have remebered all these years, that they were truly a couple that were soul mates, and would be together till the end.
