It's been years since i've seen Mendel, however he was someone that you would never forget.He was a man of diversity, as I knew him. His tenure as congressman left a lasting impression in my spirit.He had a chance to help make a difference and he did. May all the good memories remain forever in your presence, family. Jane, Lila, Elizabeth and all the Davis clan. After spending 20 years, give or take, in Mendel's office, I feel like I've lost a brother. Know my thoughts are with you all and I will sorely miss him. I honestly believe that if it were not for Mendel, I wouldn't be here to write this. He was my guardian angel and directed me on the proper path for my physical healing, opening my eyes to just how very sick I was and how much I was denying it. Mr. Davis was a kind and gentle man. He was always helpful no matter what the problem or situation was. He will be greatly missed by many. Family keep your hand in God's hand and he will see you through. We are sorry we are not able to attend his services.
