Not sure what to say?

To Mendel's Family... Don and I truly loved our time with Mendel. It was clear from the beginning that his family was the center of his universe and the joy you all brought him was a major delight in his full life. We will miss our regular gatherings for dinner together in his hospitable kitchen with the pup at his feet and the countless wisdom he shared. We love you all and share your loss. Retta and Don Hetz.

To Mendel's family.....my sincere sympathy for your loss. Such a great spirit amongst so many. May your wonderful memories sustain you.
Most sincerely,
Sharon Deliberto Terry

To Mendel's family, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. He was a special man, & he loved life. I used to clean his home/office & he was full of funny stories & just a very nice man.

There wasn't a day that went by that I didn't think about Mendel and what a wonderful, kind and sincere person he was. I loved working for him in the "Jolly" days. May your memories of him bring you peace, as I know mine will.

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Friedman's passing this morning from my best friend Renee Webb. We both wish we were there to pay our respects. Jolly Company was our all-time favorite place to work and I have a very funny memory of my first day on the job when Mr. Friedman came in from a run through the neighborhood wearing shorts and a very long t-shirt. I still tell that story of how I first met the President of my new company to this day. What a loss of an icon in the construction...

Dear Roberta, John and Mary, I sat with Mendel every morning for services at Beth El. He spoke of all of you as well as Nancy and Rosa. He will be sorely missed. With our sincerest sympathies, Steve and Eileen Lesser [email protected]

Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss of Mendel. Our paths have not crossed in many years but I retain fond memories of working together with him. My thoughts and prayers are with him and you.

It is my fondest hope that Mendel is now in Heaven with his loving friends, my mom and dad,Grace and Irv Abramson, and that they are having ambrosia martinis together! One of my prized possessions is a picture of Mendel as a 13 year old at my parents' wedding, and another of my parents at his wedding. Larry and I will miss Mendel's humor and his presence in our lives.

What a wonderful human being. He is now at peace with his daughter, Nancy, looking down from heaven and seeing how many friends he really has. The dinner on April 8th was a tribute to a very special man and what a wonderful way to depart this world. Stu and Eunice
