Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services - Ada Obituary

            Menifee K. “Bob” Colley, age 72, of McGuffey, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 at his residence, surrounded by his family. 


            He was born on February 15, 1952 in Portsmouth, Virginia to the late Buster D. and Beaureda (Williams) Colley, Sr.   


            Bob is survived by three children: Nick (Kristin) Colley of Ada, Amber (Billy) Williams of Paris, KY and Rachel (Travis Burkholder) Colley of Lima; five grandchildren: Kiser Colley, Alana Colley, Quinn Williams, Merritt Williams and Noah Burkholder; former wife, June Colley; a sister, Geneva Rousculp of Lima; and his dog, Molly. 


            He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kendra Colley; and two brothers: Buster D. Colley, Jr. and David Colley. 


            Bob worked for Nickles Bakery, Lima in the maintenance department and he also worked at Werk Brau, Findlay.  Bob was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War.  He was an avid NASCAR fan. 


            Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with David Holbrook officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima with graveside military honors conducted by the U.S. Army Honor Guard and the Ada VFW Post #9381 Honor Guard.  Services will be live streamed on Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services Facebook Page beginning at 11:00 AM. 


            Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada. 


            Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1981, Cleveland, Ohio 44106.
