Mentor Ward Guile

Mentor Durward Guile (Dee to Family) will be missed. I enjoyed having a brother-in-law and getting to know that part of my wifes life from before we met. Dee's nephew's remember holiday visits to Seattle and an adventure to the zoo. Unfortunately, Dee's only neice never met him, nor he her. Dee shared with our family his favorite restaurants, parks and an unforgettable and ever-changing view of Seattle from his apartment. Mentor was an amazing human being who wholeheartedly loved and depended on God. He had a child-like, tender hearted reverence for His Lord, and yet a wicked sense of humour. He was so human; struggling in this world but anointed with amazing grace that he was always very aware of. He deserved to be bitter but he walked with Christ instead. Mentor was filled with wisdom that staggered me, and I sometimes felt in the presense of a holy man. My move to NZ in 1990, after Mentor was "Best Man"...
