I met Meredith in 1981 and we remained connected from there on. When my son was born prematurely in 1989 he was flown from Maui to Honolulu for medical care. As a single parent, I was very supported by this extraordinary woman who went with me to Honolulu at that frightening time. Both she and Bruce were so helpful and available in those early years of parenting. And as it turns out, forever after. There are no words grand enough to express this blessing.
