I am so sorry to learn of Meredith's passing. I am married into the Kappelman family. An Otto L Kappelman (known as Papa Kappy) was my four son's Great Grandfather and whom they never met as he was long passed. I am going to do research and see if we have any relation. With the same common name it could be that this name was used twice in a family for one family member well liked. I know our last name had two N's at the end.
