I knew Meri only slightly, having met her as a clinician at the USEA adult horse camp at GMHA in 2002 and again in 2005. I just learned of her death a few days ago.

I knew Meri from Vermont years ago, where I was surprised to find her waiting tables in my neighborhood restaurant, Windsor Sation. My only solace at his time is that you left this world, as we know it, instantly - without pain and doing the one thing you loved, literally, more than life itself... There are no words to express my pain - but no Mother was ever more proud of a daughter, as I was and am, my beloved Meri..
May you ride your imaginary childhood friend, Pegasus, in that great Olympics in the sky - I know you shall achieve that gold!!
