Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Merilee Taylor. I haven't spoken to her or Mr. Davidson in years because I no longer had contact information for them. She and my Mom, Charlotte Richardson, were really good friends and fellow MCS teachers at Hawkins Mill years ago. I had no idea she'd passed away. For some reason the family has been on my mind for a little over a week so I looked on Facebook but didn't find anyone. Then I decided to Google her name today and this is when I found...

My best friend moved yesterday.
She's gone on to heaven to stay.
I know that I must try to be strong
and go on.
Memories of her will love on in my heart.

To the Taylor Family,

Merilee was my Carver High schoolmate and fellow SCS elementary teacher. I loved her
distinctive voice and will miss her presence in our alumni meetings.
Time will ease your sorrow and your sweet
memories of her will live on and on.

Love and peace,
Linda Jones-Peppers

You were wind beneath your family's wings in their time of weakness and strength. We will never forget your wisdom, presence and love.

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs MC Taylor at Newberry Elementary. She dedicated many years educating, caring and loving the children in her care. I will cherish the many years I was privileged to serve as her school principal. MC was always willing to share her expertise and experience in helping to make our school the best in the city of Memphis. I appreciate and will always cherish your memory.
With Love,

To The Taylor Family:
Always cherish the time God gave you with Merilee. Think on the good things she did as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt etcetera. I know that she loved her family dearly for our conversations were always about family. I shall never forget her as a friend, a classmate, an educator, a music student and most of all my sister in Christ.

Aunt Merilee kept me for about 2 years of my life when I was a baby. I really enjoyed you all at the family reunion back in 2013 and wish we were not far apart. Dixie loved her sisters, brothers nephews and nieces her whole family! I will cherish our text conversations and the pictures you sent of yourself. I am going to frame it. Aunt Merilee RIP! RIP Mom "Dixie" and RIP to all my mom's brothers.

To The Taylor Family:

You are in my thoughts and prayers at the transition of Merilee. She was a tower of strength, an inspiration to many and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and compassionate sister. She was also a gifted educator and a true friend to many. May you be encouraged and comforted as you recall fond memories. She loved her family and she loved the Lord and now rests with Him.
