Merl Kenneth Shelton, 91, passed away peacefully at Valley Comfort in Modesto at 10:23 pm on Saturday, October 23.  Merl was born November 12, 1918, in Kinta, Oklahoma, to Bertha and R.E. Great Grandpa, we mss you tons and we know that you are in a better place now. You will never be forgotten. I know that you are up in Heaven looking down on us along with our Great Grandma. We remember when you played the famous washer game at Marissa's birthday party how excited you would get when you scored a point. You were a great Grandpa. Also, for our annual softball game in May 2010 you were our cheerleader. GO RED TEAM!!!!
