Extremely sad to hear of Merle's passing. Merle was a mentor for me at Shell. I always had the highest respect for his intellect. I am very proud to have known Merle and will always remember him as a great friend. Take good care Hallye.

Merle was a great car club member and friend. I will miss seeing him at car events in his little red Mustang GT convertible and lately his red Challenger. May he rest in peace.

Hallye, I was so sorry to hear about Merle's passing. I remember enjoying talking with both of you a few years ago at a Normandy reunion.
