Our hearts are broken as Merle really was almost like a son to Virginia. We looked forward to spending more time together as he was talking about coming for a visit soon. She will miss their get-togethers and phone conversations where they would reminisce and laugh. He helped support me also through my dads funeral and we encouraged each other in the care of our moms. He is all over our home in the beautiful hand-made gifts he gave to us and he will always be in our hearts. Until we meet...
