Not sure what to say?

DeEtte, I will miss visiting with Merle when I come back during pheasant season. Dad will enjoy Wild Bill's company in the Hills and I'll be stopping to check on them on my way back this next season. Dick Kirsch

I am a co-worker of Kevin's and when he worked in Pierre, sometimes his mom and dad would stop by to visit him at the office. Many of us were so happy to see them - they were so kind and gracious, really made an impression on me. I'm so sorry for the family for their loss and know they have many precious memories to sustain them through this difficult time.

I always loved talking to Uncle Merle and Aunt DeEtte when they would come and visit when I was younger and when they moved back to Colome I enjoyed seeing them more often. I wish I could be there but I have other family obligations this week. Out thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family.

I have been blessed to have known Merle and It was a privilege and honor to be his nurse for many years. Merle always kind and had a smile even when he was ill..my thoughts and prayers are with you DeEtte and family. I will treasure all my memories of Merle. God Bless.

We have pheasant hunted in SD for many years with the Stenson's and always looked forward to seeing Merle. We shared many laughs over the years. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Our prayers and Sincere Sympathy to all of Merle's family. What good friends Merle and DeEtte became to our family when they moved back to Colome. Always loved his smile and friendly greeting and he was always so nice to Dale. A really good man!

Merle was a very kind and special person. He will be dearly missed by so many. From the very first time I met him at my Grandma (Anna) Kings he always had a huge smile and a bigger hello. I am very blessed to have known Merle, my prayers and thoughts are with Deette and the rest of the family. May God hold you in his hands during this difficult time and that the memories bring you comfort.
