Not sure what to say?

Dear Family of Merle Markle Katz,

I moved to Hamden in the 6th grade and became friends with Merle. We were friends through high school and had a lot of good times in the Spring Glen neighborhood. I am saddened by her loss. We used to visit after we had our babies, and then I moved out of state. I would call her when I was in town. Many years have passed, but the memories are close to my heart. She was a lovely person to know. I send my deepest condolences to her family, and she...

Merle was justifiably proud of all of you. Your devotion to family and friends is reflective of your parents' values. Your acts and deeds are living tribute. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Katz Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Merle's passing. My deepest sympathy during this difficult time.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. Always keep wonderful memories of her in your hearts and minds.
With sincere sympathy,
Beth (Feruson, P.J.'s sister) Deane

I was so saddened to learn of my old friend Merle's death. We lived on the street in back of Merle's house, and Merle and I grew up together. I have wonderful memories of those years from elementary school through high school. I was able to reach her by phone about four years ago, and we had a nice chat and, of course, I have thought of her often. By deepest sympathy to the entire family. She will be missed.
