We really wish we could be there in person to hear and share reminiscences of our dear friend, Merle Stewart. So we appreciate the opportunity to read here what Merle meant to others in his life and to share what he meant to us, too. Merle was witty and dear and sweet. A favorite companion at dinner or drinks, antiquing, and garden tours, he brought a funny story, amusing observation, or hilarious anecdote. He didn´t need to be the star, but was always glad to be a member of the party....

So sorry to hear of Merles passing. Condolences to his family and friends. I will always remember Merle as my cousin Butchie,we all had nick names growing up. May he rest in peace.

May Merle rest in peace. And may peace come to the hearts of Ron and Trevor as they mourn his passing. Till we meet again sending deepest sympathy. Celeste

Merle was a beautiful gentle soul that brought tremendous joy to my Uncle Ronnie and so many. He was a wonderful quiet man that always was smiling. We will miss you soooooo much Merle. I hope you knew what a wonderful man you were. Thank you so much for making sooooo many beautiful memories with my Uncle Ronnie and Trevor. You were loved sooooo much!

My condolences to his loved ones, family and friends. Rest in peace Merle.

I worked with Merle at Big Y in East Longmeadow for many years. He was a pleasure to work with over the years and brought a smile too many faces. I'm sending my condolences to the family during this difficult time.

A dear, dear friend. A confidant, a teacher, a mentor and a father figure taken too soon. I will miss Merle very much. A void in my life that will never be filled. Rest in peace, Merle. You will be greatly missed...

Katy, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
